SMArt Corp
Our volunteers are the lifeline of the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center (SMPAC). They support us in many different ways such as ushers, ticket takers, concession sellers, docents and Box Office staff. We hold our volunteers to the highest standards and hope that each volunteer takes a great deal of pride in their service to our community as part of the SMArt Corp. We at the SMPAC are proud of the quality programming we offer in our Performing Arts Series, rental events and various school events. It is a rewarding experience to be a part of this organization.
Opportunities
Docent ~ act as personal host/hostess of the SMPAC and guide patrons to their destinations.
Ticket Taker ~ ensure patrons enter the correct door and tear tickets.
Usher ~ hand out programs and seat patrons prior to the show.
Ticket Seller ~ sell tickets one hour prior to performance, during intermission and after the performance as needed.
Will Call ~ distribute tickets to patrons who have ordered within the week of the performance, ordered online or have requested will call.
Concessions/Merchandise Sales ~ sell merchandise and/or concessions before the performance, during intermission and after the performance as needed.
Parking Attendant ~ direct patrons throughout the parking lot as it fills during large events.
Office Assistant ~ help out in the office with bulk mailings, database entry, Box Office sales and other clerical duties.
SMPAC Street Team ~ deliver posters, brochures, previews, etc. to area businesses as needed.
