Servings of solos, duets and trios are drawn from a collaborative choreographic process. Each choreographer must make use of at least 3 ingredients from the soup of inspiration. The ingredients contributed to the Stone Soup will be anything and everything inspiring – perhaps a tea pot, a haiku and a kazoo. Each choreographer will look to the stew of chance ingredients to augment and diversify their own tastes and recipes for dance making. The dances that result will explore the blended, unexpected flavors of the concoction of ingredients from the collaborative menu.
Stone Soup is for grades 2-12.
