Rental Information
The South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center (SMPAC) is available for rentals, offering a dynamic space for business meetings, conferences and seminars, as well as a performing and rehearsal space for arts organizations. When planning to rent, please fill out an Application for Use and return it to the SMPAC Director. Upon review, a contract will be issued for your event. Dates may be put on hold for up to 30 days. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the SMPAC is capable of presenting the finest performances from the local community and the world over. The possibilities are endless, as it features:
- Proscenium stage w/ apron: 42'6" wide, 24' high
- Backstage wall to downstage edge: 49'3"
- 786 seats
- Orchestra pit w/ 8-piece manually removable cover
- 23-line counterweight rigging system
- Loading dock w/ 6' X 8' hydraulic lift platform
- ETC lighting console
- 40 channel Soundcraft Series Two mixing board
- Rosco Adagio dance floor
- Acoustically tuned theatre w/ 15-piece Wenger soundshell
- Red grand drape, 2 full black act curtains, 3 sets of legs, 5 borders (all curtains fly and travel)
- 2 dressing rooms w/ single stall restrooms
Basic Requirements
The SMPAC requires each organization to have a certificate of insurance in the amount of $1,000,000. For an organization to receive the fee structure for a non-profit organization, they must provide proof of their non-profit status. A $250 security deposit is required with the return of the signed contract.
