2009 Fall Gala/Holiday Catalog/eBay Auction
After cancelling our Fall Gala, In the Land of Pharaohs, we found ourselves with a number of great auction items but weren't quite sure what to do with them. Our board, the SMPA Council, thought it best to create a Holiday Catalog for you, our devoted patrons, to be able to purchase the items as holiday gifts for family and friends, while allowing us to still have a fundraiser. Any items that were remaining after the Holiday Catalog, we posted on eBay Giving Works, which allows customers to buy, sell and donate to their favorite charity through eBay. Through all of these avenues, we were able to raise over $3,100 in revenue. We would like to thank everyone who donated to the Gala, purchased treasure boxes at Vienna Boys Choir, purchased items from the Holiday Catalog and bid on items through eBay.
